Hoverboard Bursts Into Flames at The First Try

We have seen many hoverboards that burst into flames. But most of the videos or photos showing the aftermath of the incidents. This is the first time that we saw a hoverboard got fire while the user was on it, and that happened in a brand new hoverboard. The user claims he charged the hoverboard overnight. And he just wanted to record his first try on this modern device. Happily hoverboard didn’t catch fire at home when it was charged, and he tried it outside.

The user didn’t give any info about the brand. And like he said, ” No wonder they are not allowed on the flights.” but that doesn’t mean all hoverboard will bursts into flames but if you have one you should keep yours always outside. And try not buy cheap ones. Facebook messenger has 800 million users around the world. We are using it for texting, sending photos or files, multimedia files, our location and call people. All for this, Facebook messenger just need an internet connection. The company also wants to add some new feature like an assistant. Similar like Apple’s or Google’s. We are not seeing many people using Siri or Google voice assistant yet, but they will make one.

One thing for sure, smartphones with high-speed internet connection ruined the profits of telephone companies. First people get rid of home phones, and then don’t need a phone line for an international phone call. Now most of us doesn’t need a phone lines even to make domestic calls. There are other app or program options that you can call someone without needing a phone number. You can use; Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, Facetime and these are just a small part of apps we can use. The main problem is; where we can find a stable internet to use these apps. We are not at home or in a Starbucks all the time. Sometimes we are on the road, hiking on an open field or camping. So how we will reach our loved ones. The Facebook’s point is of view is true, with the Facebook messenger, we don’t need the phone numbers but because of this phone numbers we have the internet almost everywhere we go. They are the one provide internet. Yes, Facebook Messenger cost some serious profit for them, but the technology is not enough the kill the phone numbers just yet.

These last days we saw much news about overheating hover-boards. Some of them even hurt their owners seriously or burned their houses. Airlines banned them, some retailers stop selling them. Not only these hoverboards, a couple of days we made a news about a Tesla, which got overheat during the charge in a supercharge station and almost melted because of the fire.

So avoiding this accident and extend the life of the batteries, the researchers from Stanford University created an elastic film that. The film contains spiky nickel particles that surround the battery. When the battery starts to overheat, it begins to expand. When this expand happens, the conductive metal particles begin to move away from each other, and this shuts down the battery, and it starts to cool down. When the cooling down happens enough, the nickel particles touch each other and battery starts working again. This shutting off also extend the life if the battery If this technology starts the used by battery producers, we can see a less deadly accident that cause by batteries. This technology will make people trust the devices which use batteries.

Unmanned Air Ambulances are not Science Fiction Anymore

The reason for an unmanned drone is, the army does not want to risk more personnel in a war zone. Especially medical staff that are critical to keeping the trained soldiers alive.

The AirMule unmanned ambulance can land and take off vertically, with space for to passengers or 450kg in weight. Drone powered by an internal engine can operate efficiently hard terrains like mountains or cities. This engine type makes the drone better than a helicopter because they don’t have big propellers. One other advantage is the drone’s maximum range is 31 miles. They can quickly send behind the enemy lines to the combat area. The AirMule’s testing is almost over. Tactical Robotic expect to finish fully operational one in 2016. But still not certain when they will be used on battlefields.

Color options, see different packages change the car’s look, change the rims, walk around the vehicle and see every detail. On the internet, almost every car maker give us the option to change the car look, but VR experience is something else, seeing exact look of the car 1/1 scale will be awesome. And when you bought the car, you will not get any surprise how colors looks different than we saw on the websites or what you imagine.

Audi did a demonstration in CES with this technology; there was only an R8 in that demo. Not a model everyone can afford easily. But it will come with other models soon. After Audi, the other firms will start to put VR experience to their showrooms for sure. Don’t ask yourself; ” What is going there?” When you see a bunch of people going around and try to touch air with VR headsets in a car dealer.

It looks like Japanese and American car manufacturers are fiercely competing to enter Top 20 list. There is ten American-based, nine Japanese-based and one Korean-based company in top 20 list.

Light-duty truck sales are higher than car sales, and the difference is about 2 million. If we analyze the YoY growth by manufacturers, Alfa Romeo has the highest growth. Tesla is the forth one by YoY (2014/2015) change. And as you guess, VW sales decreased -4,8% because of the emission problem. 77 percent of the market dominated by six manufacturers which are General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Toyota, Chrysler, Honda and Nissan. All the numbers say that American and Japanese cars because of their low maintenance costs and usefulness. And German manufacturers have to understand customers needs to gain more market share.

Actually, Oculus Headset Will Cost More Than $600

Oculus headset got its first attention at their Kickstarter campaign in 2012. The headset reached its goal less than 24 hours. Total the campaign raised 2,4 million dollars. They got so popular after Kickstarter. Facebook saw the opportunity and bought the company in March 2014. Facebook paid 2 billion dollars for the enterprise.

Now Oculus VR announced that they will release the version of the headset with a price tag $600. After this announcement internet went crazy about the price. People thought the price was so high. But Oculus headset will cost more than $600 for most of us. The company announced the technical requirements for running the headset properly. And it requires a powerful PC that can’t be cheap. Also, Oculus VR will not support Apple’s OS or Linux operating system. These users need a new PC if you want to use Oculus’ headset.

Tesla’s new update to the Autopilot, now you can order your Tesla to come where you are. The feature works when you’re in the range of 39 feet ( 12 m ) of the car. The idea is to summon the car from your home garage. Tesla can tell to your garage door to open or close if your garage door HomeLink-compatible. Yes, we can say; the range is very short, 39 feet is not too much, but this is the first update for this feature.

Highly possible Tesla will try to improve this feature. For now only thing this autopilot update does, get out of your garage or get back in, and just doing it in 39 feet. A person should be really lazy not to do this; it is just a short distance. We are accepting a more improved version of this in the future, for example; it can be cool to call the car from your office place, or those garages of a big shopping malls.

Apple bought ‘’ apple.Car ’’, ” apple.cars ” and ” apple.auto ” three domains related to automobiles. It emerged that Apple registered these three domains in last December. And the domains were not yet activated.

It came up with the news that Apple is working on an electric car project named Apple Car almost for a year. Contrary to what everyone knows the name of this project is unofficial. Any statement confirming or denying about the news did not come by the Company so far. Code-named Project Titan specified with electric and driverless cars which Apple works on information leaked from different sources that can not be ignored. Some of this information are that company’s controversial hiring practices and testing driverless vehicles in California.

SpaceX Will Try To Land on a Moving Platform on the sea.

SpaceX’s rocket Falcon 9 did a successful launch and landing in December. The landing was very critical for the future of space travel. Blue Origin; another space company that is belong the Jeff Bezos, made a successful landing also, but Falcon 9 also had a cargo in it. That is why SpaceX’s launch was a little bit more important than Blue Origin’s. Also, Elon Musk’s SpaceX became the first private corporation that will carry cargos and astronauts for Nasa to ISS.

After the launch which done in December, the company will try to land Falcon 9 rocket to a moving drone platform that is middle of the ocean. But why they are attempting to land the rocket on a moving platform. It is already a hard process, why to make it harder. The reason that the company want to use a mobile landing platform is; it means more flexibility in when and how launch can proceed. It is not always possible for the rocket to return to a site that is safe to land. Weather conditions might change during the launch or landing. So a moving platform could be a safe place for the rocket, and can be more fuel-efficient for the rocket to come down.

This was the first try of SpaceX rocket to land on the platform which is middle of the sea.
