Eoin Mulcahy

Hardware & Gaming Reporter

Eoin Mulcahy is the Hardware & Gaming Reporter at TrendinTech, where he tests graphics cards, processors, consoles and peripherals and follows the games industry, from major publishers to the independent studios of Dublin, Galway and Cork. He previously wrote reviews and buying guides for the technology section of the Irish Independent and contributed features to Irish Tech News, covering everything from laptop benchmarks to the business of local game development. Eoin holds a BSc in Computer Games Development from the University of Limerick and attends GamerFest in Dublin and Gamescom in Cologne each year to meet developers and hardware makers. He writes for readers who want to know whether a product is worth the money, not whether it won the spec sheet.
