Will ”500px” be Able To Compete With ”Instagram”?

500px is one of the largest platforms for the photographers and it is online since 2009.As you remember, we have heard its name with a new investment in July of this year.

After only four months of this investment, 500px platform decided to update logo and changed most of the things about photo sales field to compete with rivals such as Adobe Stock photo and GettyImages to strengthen its hands.
500px makes some technical changes to photo sales channels called ‘’Marketplace’’ and trying to get a more solid position in this market.With strengthening the mobile side, it tries to grab a role in this area where Instagram dominates it.

Last week, 500px announced the renewed Android app, and it tries to provide a simplified experience on this platform.
The new applications aimed to offer more usable and easily consumable content streaming with only ‘’like’’ button leaving behind ‘’favorite’’ on the social network on mobile devices.On the other hand, Apple TV application which was announced two week later shows that 500px obtains a better place for itself in this market with doing its best.
In fact, these discussed topic is only one of the recent innovations of 500px.As a note 500px has 6 million users and we will see what happens.
