This Robotic Suit Will Help The Patients With Limited Mobility Walk Again

Many health issues are completely physical, with the mind still intact and yearning to participate in different activities. This is something the proposed Superflex suit is aimed at helping with. This suit should assist in resolving minor physical shortcomings and also some that cause the need of a walker to be mobile. The ability gain function without a walker or another assistance is thought to also improve self-image and a more positive emotional state. A device such as a walker can leave to feelings of extreme age, despite the physical age. This mindset can severely impede progress when it comes to things like physical therapy and depression. The Superflex suit is meant to provide a better functioning, as well as a happier persona.

This suit should be able to learn to the way the owner goes about their daily tasks so it can improve the performance over time. It is aimed at helping to stabilize shaky hands., and increase strength. This suit is also a possibility for healthy, strong individuals, such as soldiers. The suit will be able to recognize weaknesses and compensate for the needed strength. If a soldier is carrying an unusually heavy pack, the suit will help ease the strain.

The soft robotic suit will safely deliver power when needed to the appropriate part of the body. While this suit will have to depend on like a walker, hopefully, there will be more freedom while wearing it. With today’s technology, there is hope for the remedy and relief of many ailments that would have left you completely immobile in the past. The suit is not aimed at complete mobility from a paralyzed state, like the previously introduced Phoenix. The Phoenix is a $40,000 venture. The Superflex suit is not out yet, and the exact design and price are not clear yet. Commercial needs are still being sought out, and the design is still being perfected. Improvements to the early design, such as the time it takes to put on, are still being worked on. At present, it will take about 5 minutes to dress in the suit. Hopes are that this time will be reduced to only 2 minutes. Either way, once the suit is on, there will be a great improvement in the way of life for the wearer.
