When the vast majority hear the name Tesla, mostly think about its All-electric vehicles. However, Tesla that established by Elon Musk works on some other technologies which called the Powerwall battery.

The battery, which comes in two models, a 10kWh or a 7kWh and can be installed outside of the house. The Powerwall battery works with solar panels that collect sun-powered. The battery first went on sale at last May and price was for $3,750 or $3,000 relying upon the capacity. All units of the Powerwall sold out in 10 days after the launch.

Although, If you desperately want to get your hands on a Powerwall, you should wait a couple of months more. In Paris, in an event about Tesla All-electric vehicles. Elon Musk revealed that the company will come out with two new version of the PowerBall, which will be planning to be on sale around July or August. And a possible change of the capacity of the batteries. Musk did not give any comment about the what the new capacities will be, but the new generation of the Powerwalls’ batteries will be produced in Tesla’s new Gigafactory in Nevada. The first version which you saw in the video above uses the battery that made by Panasonic. With the investment and researched that done my Tesla battery team, it is highly possible that the new Powerwalls will store more energy than the previous version. And don’t think Tesla stop the partnership with Panasonic, the Japanese company will invest 1.5 billion dollars to the Gigafactory.
