Tag Heuer Smartwatch doing better than expected

Tag Heuer SmartWatch launched not long time ago with the price tag $1,500. Many of us thought the watch’s price is so high for a smartwatch, and the sales will be not so good. Even the company itself might feel the same way because they ordered the manufacturer instead of 1,200 units per week; they need to make 2,000 units.

–

Tag Heuer Connected powered by an Intel processors and comes with Google’s Android Wear OS, smart watch come with a display resolution of 360 x 360, 1,6GHz Intel Atom, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB storage in it. The watch has 410 mAh battery that is good for 25 hours of usage and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. And The company decided to suspend the online sales of the smartwatch and give the sales priority to the physical retail stores.

Well, what the Tag Heuer did that their Smartwatch gets more popular than others. First of all 2,000 unit for the week is nothing if you compare with Apple Watch production numbers but anyway Tag Heuer didn’t want to sell this much amount of the watch. First of all Tag Heuer is watch company that makes excellent watches and it very popular among the young generation who uses the today’s technologies very often. The watch faces that Tag Heuer Connected uses are very attractive designs, and their price average is around $5,000 and more. I have a Tag Heuer myself and happy with it. Now this young generation can able to buy a Tag Heuer for a low price if you compare with traditional models of the brand, and they can able to change the watch face as they like. If you think that is a quite bit luxury for a $1,500 Tag Heuer watch. And at the some they can also be connected the technology that they love to use.
