Now Quarter Of The Earth’s Power Comes From Renewables
Renewable energy sales are on the increase as people realize this is the best way to go if we want to save the planet. With several different forms of renewal energy available, including solar power, wind power, biomass and hydrogen power, there are alternative energy sources available for almost every use you can think of.

Renewable energy sales are on the increase as people realize this is the best way to go if we want to save the planet. With several different forms of renewal energy available, including solar power, wind power, biomass and hydrogen power, there are alternative energy sources available for almost every use you can think of.
Fossil fuel energy use is quickly becoming a thing of the past as renewable energy forms now take over and not a moment too soon according to many environmentalists. Burning fossil fuels not only cause damage to ourselves and the environment, but they are also non-sustainable forms of energy.
People are realizing this as studies show that renewal energy forms are now responsible for supplying almost 25% of the world’s total electricity, and that is just the beginning. Renewal energy is big business. International investment in renewal energy forms is now over $280 billion, with $161 billion being invested in solar panel alone.

Another helping factor for the rise in renewable energy forms is down to the advancements in technology. With Tesla being a prime example here, they have recently introduced the Powerwall lithium-ion home batteries and plans to launch a commercial alternative also which will have the capacity to store up to 100 kilowatts per hour.
It is not just individuals that are investing in renewable energy, but countries too. The United Nations are including affordable and clean energy as one of their focuses as part of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, and more than half of the world’s countries now have some form of policy in place around renewal energy use.
In order for us all to live in a healthy environment, we all as individuals and countries need to do our part and by supporting the use of renewable energy forms wherever possible, we are helping to support our future.
