According to IDC Reports, The Smart Phone Market is Shrinking

IDC has published the result of worldwide smartphone shipments for a three-month period and the forecasts at the end of 2015 in IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report. According to IDC Reports, The Smart Phone Market is Shrinking

IDC has published the result of worldwide smartphone shipments for a three-month period and the forecasts at the end of 2015 in IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report.

That estimates of the worldwide smartphone market will grow by 9.8 percent this year; IDC said on record that the first single-digit growth figures emphasize that.It was expected that smartphone market will grow by 9.8 percent this year.IDC emphasized that it was the first single-digit growth figures.

IDC predicts that 1.43 billion smartphones have been shipped in 2015.And IDC said that the result is due to the slowdown of sales in the Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan), Latin America and Western Europe.On the other hand, we will see the highest growth rates in the Middle East and Africa according to IDC.Especially it is expected that India and Indonesia annually will grow 50 percent.IDC Program Director Ryan Reith commented that high growth rates depend on the success of low-cost smartphone in emerging markets.

2015-2019 period, this slowdown will become more apparent according to IDC report.Because customers do not choose the windows phone and the phones that have not iOS and Android software anymore.IDC estimated that Android platform will increase its market share from 81 percent to 82 percent.According to the IDC reports, it is expected that shipment of Android devices will increase 9,5 percent, the shipment of iOS will increase 17,3 and other platforms will decrease.
