Sphero’s BB-8 was 2015’s Star Wars breakout toy hands down. The BB-8, built on the most modern technology merged effortlessly with The Force Awakens’ breakout star droid. Currently, Propel’s drones lead the Rogue One race. Post their summer 2016 unveiling these devices house 4 Key vehicles from the original trilogy i.e.; X-Wing, Speer Bike, Millennium Falcon, and the Tie Fighter.
Propel’s drones can accelerate from 0 to 30MPH in 3 seconds and peak speeds go up to 5MPH. Aerial maneuvers of the drones were showcased the first Week of December in San Francisco. And they left quite an impression. The laser fights end when the opposite team suffers a controlled crash to the ground.
However, owning one of these dreams might stay a fantasy. At $250 apiece, they cost a lot.
