Learning to be a good photographer should take a short amount of time per day and here are the details that will help you to get there.
Firstly, read the manual that comes with your camera every day and it doesn’t matter what page it is that you read. Select a page and read, then go straight on to the next step.
Next, get the camera and do what you have just read about. Use whatever new technique you have learned and if you struggle, read again and continue. Practice makes perfect and combining reading and doing so closely the information will stay with you more.

After practicing, use the camera for real. Take a picture using the function you have just learned about. If you don’t use the camera regularly you will forget how it feels and unless you are focused on learning, you could find that it soon feels alien to you.
Get to know what other photographers are doing, and study them as closely as you can. Think what you would do if you were taking it. Would you use a lens? What would the lighting need to be? If the picture can be duplicated where you live, then take one like it. If you do this regularly, you will soon see a vast improvement in the standard of pictures you are taking.
