The new unstoppable transportation giant Uber will not be at some cities of Germany, the car service is pulling out their service from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Hamburg. The reason was their battle over driver licenses, and it looks like the company lost the battle over harsh and restrictive regulations of these cities. Uber noted; the process of registering an independent vehicle is cost too much and takes so much time,
Well for German this isn’t surprising because the government decided that Uber drivers need to obtain the same licenses as commercial taxi drivers if they want to transport people across the city. German still can call a car in Munich or in Berlin.
From Uber Germany, Christian Freese said : ” Many people in Germany want call a cheap ride with press of a button on their phone ” and he added Uber is very popular in Munich and Berlin so company will be focusing on these cities in the future.
