Press Agent said that Facebook’s human resources policies intended on supporting the employees at every stage of their lives. According to this Facebook employee benefit, if the employees move to in a distance of 16 kilometers from Facebook’s Menlo Park, they will get extra 10K dollars encouragement. Facebook’s central office is 48 kilometers south of San Francisco, for some workers, it means long commute time to go to work. And also, engineers are complaining of high rents in Silicon Valley. As a note recently an engineer who works at Google bought a truck and transformed it as a small home.
Another important detail of the employees’ overtime. When employees have to work overtime, they feel to leave office earlier to go their home because of this handicap. But the distance is close to home, employees can stay easier and does not leave the office without completing the work overtime.Being late to work on morning or overtime stress after work every evening certainly affects the productivity.The sole purpose of today’s tech companies to feel more like a home office and to utilize more the labor force.
