Italian based luxury motor vehicle manufacturer is set to join the ranks of performance electric car by 2020—if all goes accordingly.
First pioneered by American Tech Company, Tesla, the electric car field is experiencing a steady flow of manufacturers joining embracing the ‘cool.’ Currently, there are no full details available, however, it is evident that the supercar is set to take the Alfieri concept. Maserati debuted the Alfieri in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Sharing the spotlight with the Alfieri EV will be Porsche’s 911 models. Also in the same rankings are Bentley’s GT and Jaguar’s F-Type. Good news for the impatient and eager fanatics, the conventional petrol V6 will be launched early 2019.
There is no bigger sign of an electric supercar in the pipelines than this. Come 2020, everyone will be ready for the Tesla Model S.
