Play for Free at Google’s A.I. Experiments

Everyone knows that Google is investing heavily in AI at the moment, and have been for quite some time now. Now, with their A.I. Experiments platform, users can play with some of the most creative test projects that have been designed by Google engineers in an attempt to crack machine learning. And at the very heart of it, all are neural networks.

These neural networks are used in most things Google has in operation at the moment ranging from photo recognition software to its translation apps and tools. So, the powers that be at Google decided to let loose some of their AI tools so that anyone can experiment in their own time.

One of the most talked about projects that’s available on the site at the moment is called Quick, Draw! This game is a robotic version of Dictionary where the AI has to guess the word you are drawing and has a surprisingly success rate.  Another experiment featured on the website is called Visualizing High-Dimension Space and focuses on explaining how AI machine learning works.

Giorgio Cam is an image recognition bot who is also featured on Google’s A.I. Experiments. This funky, little bot spits out rap lyrics based on things around it that it sees or on what it’s thinking about. Or another funky app called the Thing Translator will tell you what an object is in an entirely different language.

All these projects are just that – projects. So, don’t be too critical if what you’re looking at doesn’t quite work as you were expecting. But, if you do have some spare time then it’s a site well worth checking out just to see what’s been started already.
