As most car manufacturers begin to open up their range of models to include EV’s to keep up with the ever-changing times and trends, one company who is keeping very hush-hush with their intentions is Daimler. Daimler, in general, has been fairly quiet for the past few years, but that could all be about to change as rumors are amid that the company is going to be releasing at least six electric vehicles by 2024. This will get the British-born car manufacturer back in the race with some of the other electric vehicle manufacturers and a good way of getting people to notice the brand again.
Although minimal details have been disclosed as to Daimler’s plan in regards to it electric vehicles, more whispers are that as part of their new range, there would be a plug-in hybrid SUV model that would switch to using a hydrogen fuel cell when its electric charge runs out after 30 miles. And while six is the suggested number of models that will be bought out, some say there could be as many as nine electric models introduced. Rumours also suggest that most of these vehicles will not be available for quite some time, with suggestions for launch dates anywhere between 2018 and 2024.

Again, it is only based on speculation at the moment, but more will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show where one of their new electric cars will be unveiled for all to admire.
