Samsung is well known globally for being a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology and have this week announced another world’s first development for the company. This one comes in the form of one of their Exynos chips. These chips were originally developed and released by Samsung back in 2010 when they were installed in the Galaxy S mobile phone. Since then, several other versions of these chips have been developed that have improved over time, but none have been quite as good as the one they are now launching.
The Exynos 7 Quad 7570 is the new addition to the range and can handle signal processing up to 8-megapixel on the front camera and 13-megapixels on the back cameras. It also comes complete with Full HD video and a 1,366 x 768 resolution WXGA screen and has been created using 14-nanometer manufacturing. The other great thing about this chip is that it will not cost you the earth and has been designed as a budget chip. Although Google is looking to supply developing countries with $50 Android One smartphones, it is unlikely the Exynos 7570 chip will go into devices quite that cheap.

While performance power is nothing too over exciting in the Exynos 7570, it is still a good solid budget chip that has connectivity solutions including WiFi, Bluetooth, frequency modulation (FM) and a global navigation satellite system (GNSS). These chips are still expected to increase 70 percent power improvements in CPU performance and 30 percent more power efficiency than the previous model built on 28-nanometer manufacturing.
