Apple is Working on to Make FBI’s Job More Harder

Apple is trying to upgrade its security to prevent government officials to access data on a locked phone. This is bound to succeed and will lead to court cases when there are crimes committed such as the one in San Bernardino.

Congress need to bring Google and Apple into line with phone carriers who have to allow access to their data but as imagined both companies are resisting. According to Tim Cook, even Apple cannot access the data on a phone. However, it is possible to update phones without customer involvement. It has also been said that new security improvements were underway before the incident in California.

Apple has researchers who hunt for bugs in their system and, this time, the bug has come from the courts, and it is being fought.  As a result of the Edward Snowden leaks, other companies are improving their security and these include Google and Yahoo.

Apple’s job is going to be difficult as in effect they must install security that even they cannot hack. This is after James B. Comey Jr FBI director, stated that he agreed with the government’s view as this request to hack was not aimed at all iPhones.

Apple is now in an awkward position as they do not want to have security so strong that the average user loses everything just if they forget their password as a result of future developments. But for doing this, Apple gaining more trust from the users every each day, and others should follow its steps for the future of their companies.
