MIT scientists found a way to use discarded car batteries instead of new technology batteries that have used for making Solar panels that installed for the houses. This way instead of sending the old car batteries to landfills, project suggest to use them in Solar Panel industry. Environment and human health will be benefit also cost of the Solar panels will decrease.

A single lead-acid car battery could supply enough lead for 700 square meters of solar cells. If these solar panels can reach 15 percent efficiency, those solar cells can provide enough energy for up to 30 houses, depends on the sunny days of the area. Our world’s energy producing systems are changing, all-electric cars are getting popular, even politicians are trying to do something about this changes. And in the long term, there will be lots of unused car batteries will send to the landfill. But with this tech, car batteries could be very useful, and they can lower the costs of the solar power panel industry.
