One of the biggest car manufacturer VW still in trouble with its diesel-emissions-related problems. A couple of months ago researchers realized that VolksWagen’s some diesel engines pump Nitrogen-Oxide to the air more than 40 times than as it should be, and to hide this VW installed an emission software to its 11 million Volkswagen cars – half-million of them in the USA. How this software works; in the test mode cars are fully compliant with Federal Emission levels but when the car regularly drove, the computer switches to an another mode that is significantly changing the fuel pressure, injection timing, and exhaust-gas recirculation. This mode gives the car higher power and more range but at the same time causes heavier Nitrogen-Oxide emission ( NOx ) which can cause lung cancer.
