Tesla Will Need This Two Raw Materials Most

Global warming is at our doorstep, the North Pole is melting increasingly, and finally we are at the edge of using less carbon based energy sources, the last couple of years lots of companies invested on solar, wind, wave or other types of energy gathering sources. This is an excellent sign for our Earth future. But even this changes not enough for use the stop global warming. One of The main problems is the cars that use carbon-based fuels.

Tesla Will Need This Two Raw Materials Most
These last years, we see some changes in the automotive market, thanks to Elon Musk and his team, Tesla is changing the car manufacturing. After Tesla’s first car the other big car companies that are busy making useless electric cars prototypes until now got shocked, they understand they need to be more realistic about this issue and start planning to make a logical electric car that can be producible. So e-car market is getting bigger and they need raw materials for the batteries that are planning to use. There are two essential elements that car companies need and these raw materials are lithium and graphite.

Tesla Will Need This Two Raw Materials Most
According to Bloomberg in the next 25 years $12.2 trillion will be invested in global power generation market. Tesla just spent a 5 billion dollar to their new battery production factory that will help the company produce 500,000 electric vehicles until 2020and they are planning to make batteries for house uses – houses that collect energy with solar power and save it in these batteries inside the house. With this numbers and planes, Tesla alone will require today’s entire production of lithium-ion batteries of the whole world.

Elon Musk already starts the make the agreement for the needs of his huge Nevada factory. Tesla signed a 5-year lithium supply agreement with Vancouver-based Pure Energy. This agreement puts the company on its way to meeting its lithium needs, but Elon Musk still looking for producers that mining graphite and he might find the answer to the graphite raw material problem in North America. The Graphite Creek Deposit in Alaska, America’s large flake graphite deposit with nearly 18 million tonnes at 6.3% Cg with a 3% cut-off in addition to an inferred resource totalling 154.36 million tonnes at 5.7% Cg. This is high-quality mine in North America and estimates 100-year life graphite source.

Renewable energy clearly will be the largest global investment opportunity in the future. In time with the other car producers that will enter the market we can hope for a better tomorrow with less depends on carbon-based fuels.
