There are many a great product emerging from crowd funded projects launched on sites such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Now, many of these projects look fantastic in theory, and many have marketing that is second to none. But, until you can physically see the tangible item, it’s sometimes hard to get a true feel for the innovative product that so badly wants your investment. However, thanks to places like Amazon, and now Best Buy, a new trend of virtual shopping for start-ups is coming our way.
Best Buy’s very first Ignite area has been opened in its new headquarters in Silicon Valley. Some of the products its currently showcasing includes Muzik’s Spotify, Noke’s Bluetooth padlock, the Tangram smart rope, and the Zuli smart plug. These are just a few of the many products on display. More products will be added to the list as more Ignite locations are opened up and the official webpage will be open later this fall for everyone to have a browse.
