If you wanted to find a way to feel the same way that you feel when you are on the Disneyland “Star Tours” ride, then there is good news for you. The stomach churning sensations will soon be possible on your settee at home thanks to a newly produced gadget that is going to allow you to feel what you see on the screen. It could be a speeding car or a craft being launched into space.
Called the “Immersit” the device that will simulate the motions will not be visible according to the people producing it. It can be placed under the settee, and will copy the feelings that would be felt if you were part of the game or film. According to CEO and Founder of Immersit Valentin Fage, there are 1,000 combinations of movements.

The pads – also called muscles – sit under the settee and the brain control the movements while the heart is the power base. According to Fage, most settees are suitable and unless they are weak or not well constructed there will not be a problem. Floors will not be damaged as there is insulation to ensure there is no damage. There is a weight limit for users and that is 2 or 3 people or combined weight of 500kgs.
Motions are pre-loaded and are suitable for use with several hundred games and videos. Problems regarding weight and safety were faced, but all have been dealt with and so far $200,000 has been raised to fund the product.
