Tesla has been updating the options for Tesla Models S. Beginning of 2016; Tesla no longer sells the Model S vehicles with the rear-wheel-drive option. Also, they removed the 85kWh battery pack option from their sales. First they eliminate the option in Canada couple of weeks ago and this week Tesla representatives have been contacting with their potential buyers around the world – in where they have dealer – and informing them there will be no more 85 kWh option after Sunday to order. The company will only offer 70 and 90 kWh options for the buyers.

Before this Tesla discontinues producing 40 and 60 kWh option, they are not doing this first time. Model S completely customizable; the customers can quickly choose the option as they like. So with this last update, you have a chance to choose your Tesla among four types of Model S which are 70, 70D, 90D and P90D. Model X will have three options 70D, 90D and P90D – Model X options are for the U.S. for the other countries this model range could be different or the same. And Model 3, there are no comments on this model yet, but many of the consumers are waiting for this model. The range of the Model S will be with 70D battery pack is 240 miles and with the 90D package, it will be 286 miles.
