Electric car manufacturer Tesla has announced that thousands of new workers will start working in the coming years. Tesla has significant positions for autopilot feature. Currently, Tesla has 14 thousand employees. The company hired 14 times more people than the first days they have.

As you remember, Tesla’s Co-Founder and CEO Elon Musk announced that they are looking for expert software engineers with a tweet last month. At the same time, automatic pilot department of Tesla’s reporting directly to the CEO. According to the Wall Street Journal Tesla plans to make a major breakthrough and employ 4 thousand people in the next four years. The current number of open positions for Tesla is 1600.
Just a few days ago Elon Musk said that we are still two years away from producing fully autonomous cars. Under these circumstances, it looks like we will see fully functional autonomous cars in traffic by 2020.
