The Lawmakers in the U.S. just agreed on a extend a tax credit for solar and wind power gathering sources. This extend will give a massive push to the industry itself.
This tax extension also can be a good example for the other countries to do something about boosting clean energy installing in their country. And excellent news for Mother Earth because USA is one of the biggest CO2 producers. This extension also is predicted to add an extra 20 gigawatts of solar power, and this number is more than every panel ever installed in the U.S. before 2015. Another example of this figure; it is like adding an another USA of solar power. The tax credit estimated value is $25 billion over five years, will bring extra $38 billion in solar and $35 billion wind investment through 2021. According to the BNEF* just wind power expected to contribute another 19 gigawatts over five years, this number is enough to supply 8 million U.S. homes with clean power. Fortunately, USA isn’t the only country doing something about clean energy. Even there are some countries did better than the US.
–
Costa Rica: The country been running on clean energy for 75 days of 2015. And this December they reached %95.5 on clean energy.
–
Denmark: Can produce clean energy for its %40 percent of the population. They have a small population but in windy days. They can produce %140 more than they need. The extra power sold to the other countries but with the improving battery technology this additional power can be stored.
–
Germany: in 2015 Germany produced %78 of its energy needs from renewables; this number is on its best day, but Germany is almost 80 million population and one of the biggest economies in the world. So this number is more than any European country.
–
Uruguay: With the populations 3.4 million, the country switches most this power gathering to renewables. Uruguay can run its 94.5% of the energy need with the renewable. They are one of the best examples of changing their energy producing sources in a very short time, less than ten years they reach %94,5.

These are excellent news for our Earth, but these countries become a small part of the World of you consider our more than 6 billion population. It is highly possible we will see the effects of global warming until China and India do something about their energy gathering systems. This changes will not be too effective to our global warming problem. And Most importantly China needs to do something. We all saw what happened in Beijing; the city is at the edge killing itself. It sounds like a joke, but unfortunately fresh air from Canada is very popular right now. Smog in Beijing 40 times toxic than World Health Organization’s recommendations. The country is planning to raise the EVs sales up to 240,000 this year. And aim to make 2 million EVs in 2020.

Our Earth finally gets into clean energy era, but we are still at the beginning. These changes make us hope for cleaner future for ourselves, our children and Polar Bears.
