Urban farming certainly will take place on large cities at the future, it is healthy in many ways; totally organic and psychological effect on you will be perfect, but there is a hard part of growing your food in your urban area and that is the lack of space.
A Design Lab from Copenhagen called ” Human Habitat ” have a solution for this issue with their vertical Impact Farm. Impact Farm comes with all the necessary parts, farm can assemble into two-stored soil free farm that you can grow your fresh food with a production are of 538 SQ feet ( almost 50m square ), the company says their farm can easily be unpacked and installed in under 10 days and it designed to fit small places in urban areas.
Currently farm is being tested in Denmark, and the company is looking forward to introducing the farm to US market. With the farm, you can grow vegetables, herbs and fruit plants which can feet in its two-stored frame structure.
