Scott Urban is an innovative eyewear designer who has come up with a new product that will bring huge benefits to many different people. The new eyewear design range focuses on a pair of spectacles that are made using some of the most reflective materials there are available to man.
So, you may be wondering what the benefits of having reflective glasses are. Well, apart from the fact that they look funky, they can also be used as a safety device for bikers, night walkers, and celebrities. The reflective material used in the glasses is said to be that bright that it can be seen for up to 100 miles away. They would be ideal for bikers and nightwalkers as when direct light from a car’s headlights hits the frames it will make the glasses glow intensely, and the person will become much more visible.
Aside from being a great safety device, they can also be used as a media deterrent as the reflection gives off such a bright glow that it pretty much covers any person’s face that you are sneakily trying to snap photos of. Scott Urban said that he first got the idea for reflective eyewear when one of his customer’s had requested it. After one and a half year’s of perfecting the design, the new masterpiece plan has finally come to fruition. He has spent a few samples out to a few of his existing clients and is looking start selling them for around $100 on Kickstarter later this month. And then, who knows where this new trend could lead if it does take off.
